Q: I can't update to newest version of Final Cut Pro X
I am still on version 10.2.2 and before you ask, yes I am up to date with the newest Mac OS X software running El Capitan on my 13in Macbook Pro mid 2012. When I go to look at the app on the App Store it shows there has been an update on February 4th, 2016 which is the 10.2.3. I am also having the same issues with Motion still running 5.2.1 and the update was released the same day. I have not been able to download an update for either of them since late 2015. When I go to check for the updates there aren't any available but I do know they have been released as I stated above. They tell me to install them instead. When I select install it tells me I already have these programs installed on my computer and for me to check the updates section as it should but it isn't giving the updates to me. I have not deleted them and tried reinstalling them for the fear of never getting them back and losing my plugins. Can anyone help me out?

AAre you signed into App Store with the Apple ID used to purchase it. If the application is in the Purchased page, move the application to the trash and download it again from the App Store.
