Q: apple music family acct

If he used his own Apple ID, and we need to set up an Apple Music account with your Apple ID, then all we need to do is to cancel his entire Apple Music account. Then, you will sign up for the Apple Music account using your Apple ID. This link should offer assistance to do that: Join Apple Music later

Then, you will be able to set up the Family sharing, and add your son using this link: Start a family group.
