How do stop subscriptions? When I go to iTunes/bill it just sits ther and "loads" forever & ever??

Not sure where you mean by 'iTunes/bill', but there are instructions on this page for managing and stopping auto-renewing subscriptions, which you can do directly on your iPad or on your computer's iTunes : View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support
