Q: iMessages
I use iMessage on my iPhone but share a mac occasionally with others. I don't want my messages to repeat on my Mac. Is there a way to turn it off?

Hello mikerst,
Thank you for being part of the Apple Community!
I can certainly understand wanting your messages to only appear on the devices you want them to!
Here are the instructions on how to prevent the messages from appearing on your Mac:
Add or remove your phone number on your Mac
- On your Mac, open Messages. If asked, sign in with the Apple ID used in Messages on your iPhone.
- Choose Messages in your menu bar, then go to Preferences > Accounts.
- Add or remove your number:
- To add your number, select it and select your Apple ID under "You can be reached.” If you don't see your phone number, check your settings or contact Apple Support.
- To remove your number, uncheck it.
You can also use these steps for FaceTime. Open FaceTime on your Mac and go to FaceTime > Preferences > Accounts.
You can find additional information here: Add or remove your phone number to iMessage or FaceTime on your Mac, iPad, and iPod touch
Have a great day!
