Q: Why does Quicktime open finder by default?
When I launch QT it opens immediately finder window assuming I want to open a file. Why? this is so annoying. the only reason I open QT is to record a video.
Is there a way to stop QT opening a finder window EVERY time I click it. even if I already closed the finder window and click QT just to bring it to front again, it frigin opens finder window again. This must stop.

Open System Preferences, select iCloud, select iCloud Drive, deselect QuickTime. Should make it stop opening Finder to your iCloud Drive folder (or any folder) now.
