Q: I have lots of experience with Apple as I have bought many Apple products before. However, I received a new iPhone, and it doesn't turn on.

I have lots of experience with Apple as I have bought many Apple products before. However, I received a new iPhone, and it doesn't turn on. I already threw out my package, and so I am really disappointed right now. If anybody has had the same issue or a similar situation, please help! Apple, please resolve this problem!

    You're not talking to Apple here. This is a user-to-user technical support forum.

     

    If a brand new device won't turn on, the first thing to do is call Apple and arrange to have it replaced.

     

    Meanwhile, plug it in for at least 30 minutes using the included cable and adapter. If it hasn't turned on, try a force restart by pressing and holding the Home and power buttons until the apple appears. If it doesn't appear within about 15 seconds, though, it's not going to.
