Q: I cannot delete apps from Launchpad
So, here is the problem I currently face, and have been for a while now.
I want to delete some apps from the Macbook. So, I open Launchpad, and long-click on an app until it goes into jiggly-mode. Then I click on the X and NOTHING HAPPENS. I wait, I get bored and go back to something outside of Launchpad, like play a game or go back to work. I re-open Launchpad, and the app is still there!
Additionally, the entire Launchpad locks up when I click the X. No scrolling around to other pages, no rearranging app icons, no launching other apps . . . . . it's like it just decided to stop doing anything forever until I close and re-open it.
Here's a handy video to show what I mean. In it, I use CTRL+OPTION instead of long-click, because the end result is still the same. http://screencast.com/t/7fdwBNIZy0j
