Q: Set Automatically in Date & Time not working
Date and Time in Settings on my iPad Air the Set Automatically doesn't work? When I turn it off it will allow me to choose a city (Knoxville).
When I turn it on with (Location settings) on it just spins and spins?
Any ideas?

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communites,
This issue can be caused by a few things, most commonly the cause is the device not being able to contact the time server. Below are the Apple Support instructions for resolving this issue, as well as a link to the relevant support article.
Follow these steps, testing after each step:
- Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS.
- Turn on Set Automatically in Settings > General > Date & Time. This will automatically set your date and time based on your time zone.
- Make sure that your time zone is set correctly. Tap Settings > General > Date & Time > Time Zone.
If you still have issues setting your date, time, or time zone, you can turn off Set Automatically in Settings > General > Date & Time and manually set the time and time zone. Or contact your carrier.
The option to turn on Set Automatically might not be available with all carriers or in all countries.
If the time on your iOS device is wrong after you sync it with your computer, your computer's time might be wrong. Check the time on your computer in System Preferences > Date & Time. You might want to select "Set date and time automatically."

Of course if your carrier's time server cannot connect the other option is to set the date and time manually until such time that the carrier's server becomes available again.
Hope that helps you out.
Regards,
Peter.
