Q: Computer froze in middle of download

download el capital froze on installation to my computer help!

Power down your computer, then restart and try again.

 

If you can't restart, boot it into Safe Mode by holding down the Shift key while starting up. Safe Mode boot checks and cleans up many files, so it takes a long time. If it works, restart normally.
