Q: Can anyone HELPP! Thnks in advanced!

Can anyone help me with fixing grain after exporting. The quality is there in the editor but once I export I have grain in some parts of the video. Like a blocky look almost. I have exported crystal clear video before I just do not remember my settings. I can attach a photo to show what I mean. But again its like fine in the editor (FCPX) then once I export there is small amount of grain/blocky pixels on the video. Can anyone help me with this maybe I can figure out better exporting settings? It also seems like it only has the grain when the video is playing, once I stop it, it kind of goes away.....? I hope you can see it from the picture. IMG_4445.PNG

What are the project settings (Cmd-J) in the Inspector > Info?

    What are the clip properties?

What Share option did you use for exporting?

Screen Shot 2016-06-16 at 10.33.57 AM.pngThe first image is my project settings. The second is the clip setting and I exported web hosting quicktime movie multipass suitable for uploading to web hosting services. I've found that was the best exporting but it didnt work this time around. Screen Shot 2016-06-16 at 10.35.05 AM.png

Compression is a dark art. Your shot of the little car is dark and the grass in the detail in the grass and trees is quite high, Encoding for certain formats must find a way to get as much information into the image but remain within the parameters of the codec. Something has to give, compromises between detail, chroma range, luma range, motion, scaling and number of frames per second are handled by the codec's mat algorithms. If you boost one, the others all are degraded.

There is a mismatch between the clip and properties.

Create a test project and let Final Cut determine the project setting from the first clip.Screen Shot 2016-06-16 at 10.53.14 AM.png

Edit the clip that contains the car to the project timeline. Export as a Master file and see whether that makes a difference in the visual noise.

edit: what I meant to type was "project properties".

Soo another question. My rendering is fairly slow considering what I have on my computer. Here is my set up. Screen Shot 2016-06-16 at 8.53.30 PM.pngScreen Shot 2016-06-16 at 8.53.40 PM.pngScreen Shot 2016-06-16 at 8.53.45 PM.png

I did I was just wondering about why rendering takes so long. NOT about the previous topic we discussed. Is there anyway I can improve my final cut rendering times.

NNot really. Your graphics processing is quite underpowered and that critics cal for rendering performance.
