Q: iTunes syncing on main AppleID is now deleting apps from previous other country AppStore? Why?

I am an American living in the Netherlands.  My primary AppleID is US.  But I have apps downloaded from another AppleID associated with the Dutch App Store which are not available in the US store.  I just synced music manually in iTunes (12.3.17) and it erased my Dutch apps.  What's up with that?  Is there a new policy to make sure a device can't run apps purchased in other countries?? If I log out of my US AppleID and reload the Dutch apps will those stick?  Will I have to do this every time I want to add new music?

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.1, null

I don't have any apps or devices so I never sync. I believe you can run apps from different countries but you are running apps under different Apple IDs on the same device which it may not like like.  Apple has things set up so you change countries for one ID, not use multiple ones.  Your device may think you are running pirated software?  Maybe you need to set up something like Family Sharing with yourself, though you may still encounter issues with items from another country.

support.apple.com/HT201085 - "With Family Sharing, family members get immediate access to each others’ music, movies, TV shows, books, and apps, and can download them to their own devices any time they like.*" "* Not all content and content types are available in all countries. All family members must use the same iTunes Store country or region. Music, movies, TV shows, and books can be downloaded on up to 10 devices per account, five of which can be computers. Apps can be downloaded to any devices the family member owns or controls.

If you don't see your family's shared content - http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5449  Also: http://apple.stackexchange.com/a/146077  - quit iTunes Store and App Store apps and start again.

Family sharing only works if family members have AppleIDs in the same country. So I can share with my husband, but not my kids, who have local accounts.  My husband had an account in a third country because he received a hefty gift card while living there. We had a hard time closing that out because his balance was too low to buy anything and he didn't have a credit card in that country to pay the balance of buying something more expensive. We had to contact customer service and abandon the remaining balance. We were told to make sure we had copies of everything purchased on that ID as we'd never be able to redownload or update them again. He's back to a US AppleID.

So we've been used to having content from other countries. This latest syncing episode was the first time Apple erased content from a previous ID.

    I suffer the same problem.

I have two accounts: US account and Israel account.

Sync worked fine once I authorized the iTunes twice: once with first account and second time with another account.

Recently (probably several months) started problems when the iTunes asking infinite times to authorize the computer and doesn't allow sync even with already authorized account.

To allow iphone sync before the trip I was forced to press de-authorize one of accounts (after dozens of attempts).

As a result important health application was erased with all its data!
