Thank you for choosing Apple Support Communities. I see that you've been experiencing issues with your iPhone freezing when using the Phone app. You've done a great job trying to fix this on your own! I am happy to help.
Since you've already reset, the next step would be to find out if content or the software is causing this issue. Please try the following:
1. Update your software.
Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
2. If the issue persists the next step would be to erase your iPhone and set it up as new. This will allow you to test the issue without your current content. I know how important the content on any phone can be. So it's extremely important that you back up your data first. Use this link for steps:
