Q: Importing And Editing Hi-Res Photos on iPhone 6

Hello,

I sell my photographs as art prints, but due to the fact that they lose their resolution on the iPhone, I end up getting limited to sizes.

I shoot from a Fuji XT10 in RAW and Processed Jpeg and would like to use iPhone apps like Snapseed, Hipstamatic and Union to EDIT them. Then I would like to export them back as hi-res images so they can be printed without me losing sleep.

Is there anyway around it? I think the Camera Connection Kit only works on an iPad.

Secondly, how do I back up my all my photos on the iPhone without the iPhoto route? I need to keep a back up on my external HD.

Last question , if I deleted all my photos on my iPhone (after backing them up), my iPhoto gets automatically synced and I lose those photos on  my Mac as well. Is there a way to stop this.

Sorry for all the confusion, but even after so many years, I find it hard to comprehend all the various automatic syncing options.
