Q: Songs repeated in shuffled playlist

I have a 64gb iPod Touch 5th generation, and I sync it with a PC running Windows 10. Lately when I shuffle a playlist on my iPod, some songs get repeated after a while. (I'm sure I don't have the "repeat" mode turned on.) I don't even think the most recent iPod software update is causing this, because I've shuffled songs many times since then without having this problem. That is, until this past week or a few days ago. Would my iTunes library relate to this problem, or is it my iPod software? Is there a way to keep songs from being repeated while shuffling playlists?

    Try:

    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    - Unsync/delete all music and resync

To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Manage Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music

    - Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

    - Restore from backup. See:
