Q: Message replies from watch do not show on phone

Hi

The following steps may help:

• Check that both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your iPhone:
  • iPhone: Settings > Bluetooth - on.
  • iPhone: Settings > Wi-Fi - on.

• On your iPhone, go to: Settings > Messages:
  • Check that Send as SMS is turned on.
  • Turn off iMessage (at the top of the screen) > pause for a few moments > re-enable it.

• Restart both your iPhone and your watch. Turn both devices off together, then restart your iPhone first:
  • To turn your watch off: press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider; drag it to turn off;
  • To turn it on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

• Unpair and re-pair your watch:
  • The Watch app on your iPhone takes a backup of your watch when unpairing via the app. Choose to Restore from Backup during set up. Most data and settings will be restored, with some exceptions (eg Apple Pay cards, passcode).
  • Unpair your Apple Watch and iPhone - Apple Support

Whilst I cannot offer any assurance that these steps will resolve your issue, they are designed specifically to address it.

For the best performance from your devices, keep both up to date with the latest software. Besides including new features and/or bug fixes, updates typically also include security updates.
