Jun 17, 2016 10:56 AM in response to dianeoforegonby ChitlinsCC,Thanks Amiga! You are the EMAIL EXPERT! (I thought it was uncharacteristic for AlohaBob to be "angry" with me, much less anyone!)
Another point to make about email "formatting" that bolsters my point about Apple's design sensibility... it designed to "look like a piece of paper laying on a table so that it looks good as a graphic object to an observer STANDING BESIDE said table."
Actually, the auto-scaling almost gives that impression of screenshots posted here!

Jun 17, 2016 11:09 AM in response to Diana.McCallby ChitlinsCC,Not "totally" unrelated... see my post to Diane regarding Apple's design goal "piece of paper on a table as a graphic object"
Keep in mind that the TinyMCE Rich Text Editor is a "JiveSoftware" choice... it looks and performs the same everywhere that I have seen it = not bad for OpenSource (FREE?) solution, huh?

According to elcpu (and I agree with him), he installed Stylish, copy/pasted the CSS script, Saved and Voila! in about 2 minutes
I am biding my time until this settles down, then I will actually make up a "suite" of "choices" versions that can switched on & off (and used in combination even) and have them available for install = no copy/paste involved that will cut that time to under a minute!

Jun 17, 2016 11:59 AM in response to ChitlinsCCby seventy one,Frankly, CCC, I can't be bothered. Why do I need to struggle to be helpful when the very people I am most helping make life so tedious.

Jun 17, 2016 12:10 PM in response to Diana.McCallby ChitlinsCC,You need to stick close to AlohaBob = iPad ONLY, no computer. He has a very good attitude about this mess and has "every iPad trick in the book" up his sleeve.
I was seriously considering an iPadPro, until I realized, that no matter the "marketing hype", it still was NOT a computer!

Jun 17, 2016 1:12 PM in response to seventy oneby ChitlinsCC,Your choice, of course, mi amigo.
When one ponders it, we are REALLY spoiled by Mac computers' traditional ability to "BECOME" a really "personal" computer... almost infinitely customize-able to taste - WinDoze followed that lead.
A website is not "everyone's", it is the whim of the owner = believe you me I have had MANY Many many clients that thought that they were designers when they were really Dentists, Realtors, Engineers, etc. = they had no clue about design (some, I would shiver to see what their interior decor was like!) - but they DID have the $$$$ !!! My 1st task was to teach them to let me do MY job and deliver them what they needed to interact with their customers.
That said, "somebody" at Apple had to "earn their salary" and DO SOMETHING about Support pages and ASC to "match". Let us assume that they did some due diligence with focus groups... PICKING the target audience for Apple is a job I would not want! and THAT task is the most important step.
Actually, the Support pages are VERY well crafted = they lead the visitor very well down the path that Apple wants them to take - that path is a well thought out that has [Contact Apple Support] as the VERY last thing on the page! Good for the shareholder
At bottom, you and I ARE NOT the apple of Apple's eye - thus it is up to us to deal and adapt. YOU CAN DO IT! Give us a couple of weeks and we'll have it where you can cope quite well in under 2 minutes time = my plan is for "infinite customize-able"
Right now, my best advice is Hiroto's script. It is down right UGLY !! but it sure takes the cold cream to the make up!

Jun 17, 2016 2:37 PM in response to ChitlinsCCby elcpu,Any cut and paste or moving of text messes up the post's fonts requiring an edit and sometimes re-edits. A respected member tried to list all the bugs with the new ASC and the list got long. I am using tt2's tweaks and getting by.
