Q: Trying to reset password Time Capsule from other mac, without losing files
So I have a Time Capsule with a backup of my old computer which I just sold.
I bought a new one but I didn't want to recover from backup, just install as a new one and recover a few files from my old backup in the Time Capsule.
However, now here on my new Macbook, I remember the internet password, but I seem to have forgotten the password I need to enter the time capsule.
Any ideas how to get inside my Time Capsule without losing my Time Machine backups inside?

Try this:
Using your MacBook, open AirPort Utility, click on the Time Capsule image, then Edit within the popup window. Next, move up to top menu bar of your desktop screen and click on Base Station, and finally, Show Passwords.
