Q: Updating IPad2 from IOS4
I have an IPad 2 that has never been updated (only because I didn't get any notifications that updates were needed and it was rarely in use). I have now tried to update following an attempt at downloading an app that asked for IOS6 or above. Every time I try to update it fails and I end up with the connect to ITunes logo on screen and have to get a family member to restore via Mac. He has tried updating but same thing happens, is there any way to update the IOS gradually so we can see which is causing the fail or is it a case of leaving as it is and not being able add any more apps?
Thanks in advance
iPad 2, iOS 4

Disable or remove any antivirus software running on your PC and try again. It can interfere with the authentication process.
