Jun 18, 2016 9:22 AM in response to Dor2427by HAnilsen,★HelpfulIf your laptop still is under warranty you can take it to one of the Apple retailers and have them fix it under warranty. If it doesn't, you may be looking at a pricey repair ($500 is my guess) for replacing the top lid.
Try pushing on the bottom frame of the screen. Does that cause the screen to die or to come back? If it does, you know the problem is in the screen lid area, and as I said that can get expensive. It is possible to replace the panel itself, but I don't recommend you try that. There are a few independent repair shops who can do that for you if you look around.
