Q: Password issues

I encrypted my iPhone backup with one of my common passwords that I use in rotation on whatever devices or accounts, but it isn't working to unlock my encrypted backup. On top of that, the password to access my locked notes is also not functioning anymore. These issues only took place when I went to restore my iPhone after requesting a SIM unlock. I have no idea what is going on, but I am getting very frustrated. I know what the passwords are, but they simply are not working.

I have two-step authentication setup, I use strong passwords, I use my touch ID in every possible scenario, and this has never happened before. I have restored my phone from a very old backup, from the newest backup I had which wasn't encrypted, a full restore, and I tried to restore it from an iCloud backup that isn't working. Oh yeah, I forgot about that...

My iCloud backup which is very clearly shown on my iCloud account isn't seen by iTunes when I try to use it. It's like it doesn't exist, though I can see it. But I can't access it at all, aside from the fact that it's there.

I have tried everything imaginable to figure this out, but nothing has worked. It's like the password isn't even encrypting the file anymore, it's just corrupting it. If that makes any sense. Does anyone have any ideas?
