Q: Has anyone ever had their apple watch die, then when you go to charge it the white apple appears on the screen turns red and then shuts off again?
My problem is listed in the title, I am thinking I am going to have to take my watch into the genius bar and probably have it repaired but I was just wondering If anyone had ever experienced this? The watch is the sport addition with the OS up to date, purchased two months ago. Thanks for all the help.

Hi
Try force restarting your watch: press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for around 10 seconds, until you see the logo.
If that does not help, next try charging your watch for around 2.5 hours, making sure that you follow the charging instructions here:
Check your battery and charge your Apple Watch - Apple Support
After that time, if it has not already restarted automatically, remove it from the charger and:
- Try restarting it (by pressing and holding the side button until you see the Apple logo).
- Next try force restarting it again.
If your watch still does not turn on, I suggest that you contact Apple Support (mail-in service may be available) or make a Genius Bar reservation with a view to having watch checked under warranty:
Contact - Official Apple Support
