Q: IPhone 6: Sending photo to notes - get "to send a note, you'll have to go to notes and upgrade...."
Im on iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.2
if I go to photos, select a photo and then hit the send? (Little box w/ uparrow)
I then select "Add to Note"
i get a message box "To send a note you'll need to go to notes and upgrade your icloud account.
I get "cancel" & "go-to-notes" buttons.
The g-t-n button just dumps me into notes. No upgrade option.
My notes is set up only on my iCloud account. If I create an "on my iphone" notes account, it works. But then I'll need to move those notes to my icloud notes.
Shouldnt this work sending into iCloud notes?
Besides, the behavior seems odd that it would tell me to 'upgrade' and the just dump into notes app. And there is no option to "upgrade" that I've found.
For now I've created an "on my iPhone" account and try to remember to copy them. Clugy though.

It sounds as if you have more than one device using Notes; e.g., a Mac. The Mac must be running OS X El Capitan. Notes must be upgraded once all your devices have the capability to read and process them. Here is more information:
