Q: wi-fi no hardward installed
My mac pro can access wi-fi.
I currently shwod grey and nos responding. when I place the cursor in the icon, a message appear that sais, WI-FI: No hardware installed

- If it is repairable reinstall the OSX

- If you do not have a backup use disk utility to restore the internal disk to an external disk so you can try to recover data.
Then format the startup disk and do a fresh install of OSX
Assuming it worked before, try removing and reinstall the wifi card. Note that not all of the silver-tower Mac pro came with a wifi card.
