Q: How can I get a downloaded TED video on iPod nano

As the titles says. I Downloaded the TED talk as a 480p mp4. I tried to put it into iTunes first via "Add to Library" hoping to sync afterward, but after the import it doesn't show up in "Movies" or anywhere else in iTunes. Played around with iTunes (how I hate this app!)  for half an hour and got very frustrated. Is there a simple way of getting downloaded videos onto the iPod?

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Videos added to iTunes will usually be classed as home videos. A recent update to iTunes has changed the way certain content is accessed. Revealing the Home Videos section of the library requires that you discover a hidden edit menu that you've no reason to suspect exists, and then unhide the thing you didn't know was hidden.

The word Edit to the right of Library only appears if you move your cursor over the position where it would appear.

Click it to reveal this menu:

    And then check Home Videos:

You can then click Done, and finally click Home Videos to see what it contains.
