Q: how to pair an existing apple watch with a new iphone
I bought an apple watch about a week ago and paired it to my old iphone 5S. I just got an iphone 6 plus but it won't pair with my apple watch. When I hold up the camera on the 6 plus to the apple watch, it doesnt' pair, and when I try to set it up manually, I can't find the "i" icon it is asking for to pair manually. I have tried turning off the bluetooth on the phone and tried turning airplane mode on and off on the watch, and none of them work. Do I need to reset my apple watch, or is there an easier way to pair my apple watch with my new iphone?

Yes, you need to reset the Apple Watch.
UPDATE: You did not say you unpaired the Apple Watch from its former iPhone. On that former iPhone, open the Apple Watch app and tap My Watch > Apple Watch > Unpair Apple Watch > [Watch Name]
Then reset the Apple Watch.
