Q: Beats Studio Wireless Update Keeps Interrupting

Hi guys,

Just got my new Beats Studio Wireless in the mail today.

Tried to update them using the Beats Updater after a while of it being stuck at step 2 it said update interrupted, plug in your beats; meanwhile they were plugged into my computer to begin with. I unplugged them and refreshed the page and powered them on and off to re-begin the process and the power light started pulsing from side to side opposed to staying solid and they've been stuck like this forever now.

I can't even do a reboot cause if I turn them off they just turn back on and continue to not work. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

    Hello rmehta08,

Thank you for being part of the Apple Community!

It is my understanding you are experiencing a problem updating your Beats Studio Wireless, and now they are not working at all.  It looks like this is a new set so I am sure you are anxious to use them!

The first thing I would attempt would be to reset the headphones.

    RESET

    1. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds
    2. Release the button
    3. The Fuel Gauge LEDs will all blink white, followed by one blinking red
    4. When the lights stop flashing, reset is complete
    5. Your Studios will automatically power on after a successful reset

If you reset and you’re still having issues, try using another power source, a different cable, or try sound troubleshooting for headphones.

Once they are reset, you should be able to use the Beats Updater to make sure they are completely up to date:  Beats Updater

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers!

    Hi srbwanderer,

Thanks for replying. I have tried to reset but even that does not work as mentioned in my post.

The reset does not occur, all it does is force the Beats to turn off, but after a second or two, they turn themselves on again and the lights continue to pulse from left to right.
