Q: How do I regain access to IPhoto cloud sharing on MacBook Pro? iPhone 6 and old iPad are fine.
One day my access to iPhoto shared photos simply disappeared on MacBook Pro, while old iPad and my iPhone 6s are thankfully fine. How do I get access restored?
MacBook Pro (15-inch Mid 2012), OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

I suppose you are talking about the iCloud Photo Library. If it is the case, I would first go in System Preferences, then select iCloud. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID as on your other devices and that Photos is turned on, with iCloud Photo Library on.
If this is already the case, you can try turning it off and on again. You can turn the MacBook off and on again as well. If it still doesn't help you can sign out from iCloud (it will ask you if it's OK to delete some information from your MacBook Pro, but it's OK because it's all going to download again once you sign back in). After that, you can wait a few minutes and sign back into iCloud. If after waiting for a little while you still don't get your pictures, keep reading.
Open the Photos App on your MacBook Pro. At the top of your screen, click Photos, then Preferences. It should open up a new window. In the iCloud tab, it should say the iCloud Photo Library is turned on. In the General tab, it should tell you where your Photo Library is. There should be a button right under that, saying "Show in Finder". Right next to this button, you should have another button, saying "Use as System Photo Library". If this button is NOT greyed out, you have more than one Photo Library on your computer, and iCloud is not synced to the one which is not open right now.
