I found a file called applesauce , Can someone tell me what it is

As I mentioned it is part of OS X. Apple is correct. It is in all my installs of El Capitan and most likely will be in macOS Sierra.

    can you tell me how to find the folder that you show in your example. i can go into my system settings and find it but it seems to be much simpler the way you have its
