Q: Numbers Wave Chart

Hello community,

In the App Store, I can see this picture:

But when I open Numbers it shows me this:

I don't have that wavy chart shown in the first picture.

There is no update available.

My Numbers App has version 2.6.2.

I've already tried to delete the app and redodownload it, but that didn't work.

 

Is there something I've missed?

Please let me know if you know the solution.

That is most likely because that file was originally created on the desktop version of the program, which allows you to change the colors of the bars manually.

 

They then opened the file on an iOS device to make the screen shot.

 

If you make a file natively on your iOS device, it will show you the default settings for the template, which does not have that color choice, but the ones you see.

    Hello, Jonas,

     

    I don't fully understand the question.  In the first picture you posted that is only an Example spread sheet along with the "Chart Options"

     

    When you open Numbers you begin with a blank spread sheet but still have the same options "Diagramopties"

    I dont think any of us know what you mean by the wavy chart.

    Please give us more information.

     

    Maybe take a cropped screen shot of just the item you are referring to.

    on your ipad:

    1.      save the image to your photos
    2.      open the image in the photos app
    3.      tap edit
    4.      use the second button down on the left to start cropping the image
    5.      drag the corners down until you have the rectange only around the part (or part of) what you are referring to.
    6.      Tap Done in teh top left
    7.      post that to here

    Here is a picture of the "wave chart"

    That is part of a specific template and not part of the standard implementation. You might be able to recreate from Numbers for Mac, but not on an iOS device.
