Jun 20, 2016 8:33 AM in response to Doktorklunsby BenB,I do not see the problems in the sample clip you posted. Perhaps help me out by specifying exactly what I'm supposed to be noticing in that clip.

Jun 20, 2016 10:27 AM in response to Doktorklunsby fox_m,I see occasional flashes of scattered "noise" that looks like JPEG artifacts. If your original image is a JPG, try converting it to PNG or TIFF (easily done with Preview). If that doesn't work, I'd recommend exporting a standard video size (either HD or SD), then trimming the sides off in a second project using the baked video.

Jun 20, 2016 11:22 PM in response to Doktorklunsby Doktorkluns,Updated. The first didnt illustrate the problem properly. Have updated with this video:
The effect is on all sources: Video, PNG-images and text-generators.
Faulty hardware, VRAM maybe?

Jun 21, 2016 12:55 AM in response to Doktorklunsby fox_m,If you're wondering about your graphics card/vram, you need to tell us what those are along with the version of Motion you're using and the OS version as well. Motion and FCPX updates follow OS updates fairly closely. As an example, one of the last major updates that followed OSX updates was for a core graphics package called Metal (about the same time 3D text was introduced.) If you're still running Mountain Lion and have upgraded to Motion 5.2.+ I might suspect something along those lines. Also, since Motion 5.2, the minimum recommended VRAM is 1 GB, although most of Motion might still run without incident (some of it's features might be... ignored... sort of.)

Jun 21, 2016 3:44 AM in response to Karsten Schlüterby Doktorkluns,Hey Karsten
Yeah, dont know why it says 10.8.5. I'm on 10.11.5
I'm pretty sure it's hardware related, as the problem is affecting all my old projects as well, and it started mid-work, with no correlation to an update or anything.
But Final Cut & After Effects is working perfectly, so I hoped that maybe I could tell Motion to process differently or something.
But I probably have to ask my boss for a new Mac or a change of hardware somehow.
Thx for your time.
Kind regards
