Q: Has anyone else had trouble with Apple Watch chipping??
On the 11th (9 days ago) I purchased the Apple Watch Sport Editon - 42mm in Space Gray.
This afternoon I changed the band out. After doing so, it now has a chip along the edge of where the band slides in. Of course, a chip on the space gray basically looks white and does not look nice. Is this going to continue happening?? I've been so careful to not drop or bump it at all, and then it chips by me switching bands! Also, any idea if the chip is going to spread?? I was thinking of going and switching out for the silver hoping maybe the silver face doesn't show so terribly if it chips, but hard to return with a chip on it. Just can't believe I'm having this problem after owning it for a couple days.

Your watch case should not chip in that way under normal use.
I suggest that you contact Apple Support (mail-in service may be available) or make a Genius Bar reservation with a view to having your watch checked under warranty for a manufacturing defect:
