Q: iTunes unresponsive

Whenever I am connecting my iPhone6s to my laptop, iTunes version 12.4.1.6 just becomes unresponsive and does not allow to perform any function. After diagnostic test the software displays device not found. Tried may fixes available on apple's site but still the situation remains same.

I am using Windows10 on my laptop. Kindly help its very urgent.
