Q: Apple Watch heart rate and calories
I recieved the apple watch a couple of months ago and have noticed it does not give me the accurate heart rate or calories burned. Any suggestions as to why?

Hi
Move (calories) and other activity-related estimations depend, in part, on your personal information. To check that this has been entered accurately and to keep it updated over time:
- On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Health > Edit - tap and adjust items, then tap on Done.
Calibration can improve the accuracy of health and activity-related estimations including calorie and Exercise estimations in the Activity app. It may help to reset your calibration data and to re-calibrate your watch (follow the instructions in the article below):
- On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > Privacy > Motion & Fitness > tap on Reset Calibration Data.
For the best performance from your watch - including from the heart rate sensor - check that you are wearing your watch with a good fit on the top of your wrist (neither too tight nor too loose, with room for your skin to breathe). For the best results when recording workouts, Apple suggests that you consider tightening your watch band before workouts and loosening it again afterwards.
