Hi
The following steps may help:
- On your iPhone, in the Contacts app:
- For each of the people you originally added to Friends, check that there is only a single contact card within the Contacts app (delete any duplicates).
- Check that each contact card contains only that person's own contact information - ie their own phone number(s) and/or email address(es).
- Also check that there is only a single contact card for you, containing only your own contact information.
- On your iPhone, go to: Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > in the Contacts section, check that My Info is using your contact card.
- On your iPhone, go to: Settings > General > Siri > My Info - check that your contact card is selected.
- On your iPhone, go to: Settings > iCloud - turn on iCloud Contacts.
- On both your iPhone and your watch, delete old Messages conversations with each friend:
- On your iPhone: Messages app > swipe left on a message thread > delete.
- On your watch: open the Messages app (via the Home screen, which is accessed via single press on the Digital Crown) > swipe left on a message thread > tap on Trash / Delete.
- Reset your sync data:
- On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > Reset > tap once on Reset Sync Data.
- Nothing will seem to happen, but the process will run in the background, invisibly to you.
- Allow a minute or so for the process to complete.
- Restart your iPhone and watch (turn both off together, then restart your iPhone first):
- Check and, if required, edit and/or reorganise your Friends via the Watch app:
- On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > Friends.
