Q: Music list in watch screwed up
I Use the watch quite a bit to view and shuffle my music. I never Bluetooth songs over to the watch, I simply listen through my iPhone as usual but utilise the watch music app to shuffle or look at my playlists. It does a good job of replicating exactly what displays on my phone.
however, on rare occasions the watch music lists can get screwy and as far as I can see the only fix is to unpair, pair and then restore from last backup. Always sorts it out. But it's a long drawn out process and takes ages as all the apps restore.
an example was the other night. I bought a couple songs on my iPhone. All normal on the phone but for some strange reason the watch displayed each song twice.so for recently added my phone listed each song the once but they were duplicated on the watch. I checked all my other devices such as iPad, Apple TV and iMac to see if they duplicated the songs in question and they did not. Only the watch. As it irritated me and I couldn't fix it (tried a few things including force quitting music app, restarting watch) I unpaired and re paired watch and after a long process of restore it was fixed and list was fine only showing once.
long winded but it brings me to my question - is there a way of forcing the watch to rebuild the music app song lists without needing to restore - it would be much quicker?
thanks
