Q: Powerbeats headphones with apple watch drops connection

I have successfully paired a new Dr Dre Powerbeats headphones. I am at the gym working out. I just have the Apple Watch and Dr Dre Powerbeats headphones. I can play Itunes songs from the watch. I find that movement on a weighted crunch machine at the gym causes the Apple Watch to drop the bluetooth signal with the headphones. This would only occur at a full extension. I return to the starting position, and the watch would re-sync with the headphones.

This same issue happened when around other metal equipment. The next day I used my headphone paired with my Ipod touch. I didn't experience any drops with the Ipod touch. Any thoughts? Will a software update fix this issue?

Apple Watch, iOS 8.3

I also have the Plantronics Backbeat FIT headphones and connecticity seemed to be an issue when I was using the mower, edger and blower tonight. headphones would connect for about 15 minutes and then disconnect, always when my arm was extended away from me. Ive used the same headphones connected to my iphone without issues so I know it's not the headphones. I thought maybe it was the metal in all the equipment that was causing some sort of disruption in the Bluetooth connection. Glad to see others have same issues with same headphones

It could be a hardware problem but do make sure your headphones are fully charged as it could be that causing the connection to drop out as your watch gets further away. Hope this helps.

Well I am not sure my problem is exactly the same as everyone's here but it's similar. I just bought a set of Powerbeats 2 earbuds. I actually pair them with my iPhone not my watch. When I power those on and listen to music my Apple watch disconnects from the iPhone. It's an iPhone 6. Does it not have multi-device support for Bluetooth? I guess I could always jam music on the watch and pair my beats to the watch. Never thought of doing that.
