Jun 22, 2016 8:48 AM in response to AppleJen77by nicolecet99,Thanks AppleJen77. I spoke with support 3 times since Saturday June 18th when I requested recovery for my Apple ID. The new "trusted device" was the problem. I made my iPhone the trusted device so when it automatically updated and so required re-activation, this became an issue because I forgot my password. Texts and phone calls from support went to a "trusted" phone I couldn't access. The page where I was supposed to be updated on the recovery progress, said "we've received your request to recover your ID it will take a few days" until June 21st. Then last night (June 21st around 6pm) I received an email stating that they received my request on June 22nd at 12:-01PM!!!!!!! I made the request on June 18th. This is terrible service. I am currently using my work Apple ID because my personal ID and phone are still locked. Poor, poor service. I was hoping someone could give me a time frame as to how long this recovery takes. A few days or a few weeks?
