You don't. Apple Music can be streamed, or downloaded for offline use to a computer or iOS device. These are able to confirm your active subscription and will no longer play the content when the subscription is cancelled.

It will be the same issue. Downloads from Apple Music come with digital rights management to ensure you cannot use them outside of the Apple ecosystem or when your subscription has expired.

All you have to do is click file and choose "Burn playlist to CD"

If the media files in question are from Apple Music then you don't have burn rights for them. It won't work.

In order for you to make a CD of any music in Apple Music, you must purchase each song that you want on your CD then it will let you burn the playlist to a disk.  You will notice that some of the songs range from .60-1.29 depending on the album, artist and other factors.  It evens out to paying for a regular CD but since you have cancelled your Apple Music subscription, you will need to download in iTunes desktop or app on your phone and then create a playlist with the songs you want to burn once they have been purchased.

Apple Music is amazing and for the most part, meant to be played streaming and not burned to a CD but for those of us that still have a vehicle with a CD player, making a disk is still a fun way to have good music in the car!
