Q: Iphone 6s Battery Case should be charging the phone all the time?

Hi,

I have an iPhone 6s silver 128gb and I have bought the battery case from apple for this device.

I have been using the battery case for 3 days and I see that the cover is charging the phone all the time, is this normal?.

it works like the ac charger does really

it charge the device until it's full then it stops until the batt drops a few % (can't recall how many)

then it charge it to 100% once more and repeat.

    Hello RGT19,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple support community. I know how important it is to keep your phone charged all day. I'd be lost without mine. The good news is, yes, this is normal behavior for the Smart Battery Case. See this article for information on it:

Charge your iPhone with your Smart Battery Case

Your iPhone views it as a power source just like it would your lightning cable. So you should be in good shape.

If you do run into any issues or have any questions though, the whole community is here to help.

    Best Regards-
