Q: Changing WIFI password on El Capitan

I had to change my password for my wifi, but I don't see an option to do so in the wifi settings on my Macbook pro? It automatically connects to the wifi but it's extremely slow and disconnects because I have changed the password for the wifi, so how can I update that on my mac?
