I understand you'd like to download iMovie for free, but are showing that it is not free in the App Store. I can understand your concern about this and I'm happy to go over some information for you. You can download Apple apps for free if you activated or purchased an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 9 or later on or after September 1, 2013. Having said that, you will need to use the same Apple ID that was originally used to activate this iPhone in order for those apps to be free.
