Q: White/grey screen after logging in to MacBook Air?

So I've trying to troubleshoot an issue I've been having with my MacBook Air this morning. I have no problems logging on to my MacBook Air but it will not show the Finder screen...instead it shows a white/grey screen. I did Force Quit all programs I had working on there but still nothing. I also did the typical keyboard hacks and nothing happened either. It will not change even when I click on the screen. Please help!
