    Hello BarbiegrlRayne,

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities.

If I understand correctly, you are able to set the purchased tones in Settings > Sounds but you only feel the phone vibrate, not play the tone from the speaker. I know how important it is to be able to use your purchased tones! Let’s start with a couple of easy steps to begin with:

    1. Restart your iPhone and the test the issue again with both tones and alerts that come with the phone, as well as the ones you purchased.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    2. On your iPhone, make sure that the volume bar is turned up in Settings > Sounds. Also, make sure you don’t have anything stuck in the headphone jack on the iPhone, or paired with any external devices, like bluetooth headphones or speakers.

    3. Make sure you don’t have something else that could interfere, such as Do Not Disturb, to keep your phone silent.

    Cheers!
