Q: iCloud Video Upload

Hello,

So, I have purchased an iPad Mini about 2 years ago and I just started using iCloud backup yesterday. I have already put all of my pictures on iCloud photos, so they got sent to my iPad already. The only problem that I am having is how to upload videos to iCloud photos so that they can be put onto my iPad also? Whenever I select upload, I select the videos that I would like to upload, but an error message pops up stating that there was a problem uploading this file... only files in JPEG format can be uploaded.

What should I do? I tried many times, and I have also downloaded iCloud for windows and tried uploading there also but it keeps saying uploading (blank # items) under iCloud photos when I click on the little iCloud windows button in my taskbar by the date/time. What should I do? How do you upload videos?
