Jun 24, 2016 11:32 AM in response to Scott_Rby léonie,You can write the names slightly differently, one with an intitial for the second name, one not. Or append a blank to the second name. Use the same method as in your Contacts card to keep them apart.

Jun 24, 2016 11:36 AM in response to Scott_Rby LarryHN,The name you use makes no difference to Photos - it is just a string of bits that is there to help humans so you can so anything you want - us middle initials, nicknames, numbers, a city suffix, or any other device that is clear to you - that is strictly a human thing and Photos has nothing to do with it in any way
If they are identical then Photos has no way to know so you do have to devise some method to make them different

Jun 24, 2016 3:28 PM in response to LarryHNby Scott_R,Names make a difference to Photos in that Faces will eventually start to match a particular name to a particular face. If I'm labeling two different faces with the same name it'll confuse the matching algorithm

Jun 24, 2016 3:54 PM in response to Scott_Rby notcloudy,If they are relatives you can ID them by their relation to you.

Jun 24, 2016 3:58 PM in response to Scott_Rby LarryHN,Right - explain exactly how you think that Photos can tell Jimmy with blond hair form Jimmy with black hair- that simply is not how it works
But it does not confuse Photos - it only confuses you so you have to make some difference between them
Once again so it works for you
- use middle initials, nicknames, numbers, a city suffix, or any other device that is clear to you
