Jun 25, 2016 8:27 AM in response to JacenSolo2001by richard.ulmer,I have a similar problem with my 80G ipod. When connected to itunes it states the device is corrupted and restores the system, but still states that it is corrupted.
Nothing I have done, which includes reformatting the device, has helped.
Does anyone have a fix for this problem? The iPod system is restored on the device, but none of the music is. It like it's new, but won't load any music.

Jun 25, 2016 8:58 AM in response to richard.ulmerby turingtest2,Stats look fine. I think this may be a Windows error. Is the device currently set up to allow disk use? If so can you change that setting? Does it make a difference?

Jun 25, 2016 10:51 AM in response to JacenSolo2001by blee1940,I'd like to find a way to contact Apple directly via an e-mail. The latest Windows 10 builds don't recognize FAT32 file system. I have complained about it four times to Microsoft. With a General Public Windows Anniversary update coming later this summer, it is an issue that Microsoft-Apple must resolve.

Jun 25, 2016 10:58 AM in response to richard.ulmerby blee1940,The last Windows 10 Preview Build that recognized iPod classic FAT32 file system is Build 14352. I have tried subsequent releases and notified Microsoft about the issue. To date they have not addressed it. Wish I could e-mail Apple directly about it to see what they are doing, if anything. Norton AV had a similar issue and somehow it was resolved between Symantec and Microsoft. Don't know why Apple and Microsoft can't seem to play nicely with each other.

Jun 25, 2016 11:53 AM in response to richard.ulmerby richard.ulmer,Okay, I found my problem. It's Windows 10, no surprise there. I attached my iPod to my Win7 machine and had no problems. No issues exist. So the answer is not to use Windows 10 with iTunes and an iPod.

Jun 25, 2016 10:05 PM in response to richard.ulmerby JacenSolo2001 ,The other user has the exact issues I do. I've found its Windows 10 exactly, it's the recent insider builds causing the problem. A few people reporting this in the Insider forum.

Any suggestions?
