Q: How do I REVERSE iCloud backup?
I feel like I've been hijacked!
At some point I must have clicked OK to backing up my pc-based Outlook when setting up my new iPhone 6.
As a result, the back up file on my PC was replaced by an empty file.
I want to go back to the good old days of synching my iPhone to Outlook on my PC, but I cant figure out how to a) create a back up file on my PC and then b) turn off the iCloud back up.
Thanks for your help, Mick

Community Specialists
Hello Michael Verran,
Thanks for asking your questions here in the Apple Communities. I'm glad to be able to offer some assistance with helping you make a backup using iTunes, turning off iCloud backups, and then some options to sync your device using iTunes.
This first article will help you choose a backup option, and guide you to making the backup using iTunes: How to back up your devices using iCloud or iTunes. You will want to also check the top portion describing the steps for iCloud, and ensure that iCloud backups is turned off inside the iPhone.
These next articles are going to be the ones you need to use to get your data to sync through iTunes. There are two different articles: one explaining how to sync in general and another explaining how to specifically sync contacts, calendars, and other info with your iPhone. The last article in the list will help you with troubleshooting if you have an issue syncing your Outlook data to your iPhone.
1. Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer using USB
2. iTunes 12 for Windows: Sync contacts, calendars, and other info with iPod, iPhone, or iPad
Glad to help answer your questions today. Enjoy the rest of your day.
