Q: Ipad Mini cannot find airprinter

I have a BrotherHL-L2360DW Printer connected to my network. All of my Desktops and Laptops print to it wirelessly. However my new Ipad Mini 4 does not detect it even though the ipad is connected to the same network. I have read and re-read Brother's AirPrint Guide and followed its instructions as best I can with no success.

Do I have to do something special in the Ipad's Settings to get it to work?

You never mentioned the computer or operating system you use. I checked the site for my computer, a Mac running OS X 10.11 (current operating system) and found a Firmware Update Tool revision dated June 23, 2016 (2 days ago). I recommend downloading at least this firmware update for your printer.

Yes, I completely neglected to mention the machines that easily use the printer are all Windows 7 pc's. Windows Update shows no similar firmware revision.

I am sorry I made that error.

Yes, the same firmware update appears for Windows 7! This is the Windows 7 64-bit page:

Have you tried printing from another iPad or iPhone ? Can it see the printer ?
