Q: Can't Sign In to MacBook
So I changed my email and password for iCloud. Got home only to find that I could not log in to the MacBook any more; old password and new password would not be accepted. After restarting and trying several times, the old password suddenly worked.
Then I was told there was a problem with iCloud, that I needed to take care of, so I went to the settings to do so. However, I could not manage the ID because my password, again, would not be accepted. Nor could I sign out, because that would delete my contacs and so forth, and also required a password, which again would not be accepted...
I went to my Apple ID and removed the MacBook from devices, in hope that I could attach the new ID to the MacBook. No such luck. Then again I could not sign in to the MacBook, and it has been like that since.
Went into terminal and wrote resetpassword, but there is no harddrive to select so I can not reset the password either. Tried to reinstall OSX, but that requires a password to unlock the drive, which does will not be accepted.
I read around a little, and seems like this is a problem for other peoples as well. Does anyone know how to fix this? Is the only option left to erase the harddrive and reinstall OSX, or will I be prompted for a password then as well?
I'm fed up, and now regret buying a Mac in the first place. Any help would be appreciated.

That's because you use FileVault. You first have to unlock the startup volume using the password with which it was encrypted. See also the applicable sections of the support article linked below.
