Q: The Download button for Flash on this Apple site is inactive.  Why?

I went to the Apple site to download the latest Adobe Flash Player. ( I'm nervous about using a non-Apple site because once in the past I got 'Malwared' updating Flash Player from a non-Apple site.)  However, the The Download button for Flash on this Apple site is inactive.  Anyone know why?

On your Mac go to

 > System Preferences... > Flash Player > Updates > Check Now

If your plugin is outdated, you can download from there.
